Indian summer

0 min read
Last week on our way for a visit in Montreal we decided to take a D-tour and drive through Algonquin national park. Good opportunity to checkout the "indian summer" colors as October is supposedly the best month for maximum leaf color change and minimum leaf-drop. The colors were just stunning. The weather on the other hand - not so great. It wouldn't stop raining, so we didn't take as many shots as we planned to. I already noticed some amazing autumn shots around dART. if you have autumn / tree color shots you want to share or any tips or comments - please leave a link on my profile, I'd love to get some ideas in preparation for our next

Last night there was a massive thunderstorm in Toronto that lasted a good couple of hours. I was overlooking the CN Tower and could see lightning strike it multiple times - absolutely AMAZING sigh! I really wanted to capture it on camera but it was too scary I was too close to the tower and didn't have a wide enough lens and let's be honest - didn't really know how to go about capturing it. If anyone has a good resource on how to capture lighting or some photos they wanna share - would be great if you could share it in comments. Here are the ones from last night in the globe and mail: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/toronto/

After a quick intro tour around DeviantART - I think I'm gonna have to accelerate my learning curve when it comes to Photoshop (more like start my learning curve). Some of the enhancements out there are just ridiculous (in a good way). A good intro tutorial online should be a good place to start... Would love your advice on good tutorials / online resources.
